The Essentials

General Questions

  • I don’t believe in quick fixes or repetitive, cookie-cutter treatments.

Every patient is approached from a whole-body perspective, looking at posture, movement patterns, lifestyle habits, and nervous system function. Adjustments are just one piece of the puzzle.

I combine chiropractic care, rehab, soft tissue work, and education to create a plan that’s specific to you.

You’re not just getting adjusted; you’re being guided through a process of real, lasting change.

  • Chiropractic care focuses on the relationship between the spine, nervous system, and overall function of the body. While physical therapy and massage are incredibly valuable, they often target muscles and movement patterns more locally.

My approach blends the best of all worlds—precise adjustments to restore alignment, combined with rehabilitation, soft tissue work, and lifestyle guidance—so we’re not just relieving tension, we’re addressing why it’s there in the first place.

The goal isn’t temporary relief, it’s long-term structural and functional change.

  • Yes, when performed properly, chiropractic adjustments are extremely safe and highly controlled. Every treatment is tailored to the individual, based on a thorough assessment of your body, your history, and your goals.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Some patients need gentle techniques, while others benefit from more direct adjustments, but everything is done with precision, intention, and respect for your body.

Your body is never forced, it’s guided back into balance.

  • The sound you hear during an adjustment is simply gas being released from the joint, similar to opening a soda can. It’s called a cavitation, and it is completely normal.

More importantly, that sound isn’t the goal. The goal is restoring proper motion and alignment in the joint so your body can function the way it’s designed to.

Some adjustments make noise, some don’t. Either way, what matters is how your body responds and integrates the change.

  • No—and that’s never the goal here.

My priority is to help you understand your body, correct the root cause of your symptoms, and build stability so you’re not dependent on constant care.

Some patients choose to continue with occasional maintenance because they feel and function better. That’s a choice, not a requirement.

This is about empowering you, not creating reliance.

  • There’s no fixed number, because no two bodies—and no two lifestyles—are the same.

After your initial evaluation, I create a custom care plan based on what’s actually going on in your body, how long it’s been there, and what your goals are.

Some patients need short-term care, while others benefit from a more progressive plan, but everything is intentional, measurable, and adjusted as you improve.

The focus is always on getting you results efficiently, not keeping you in care unnecessarily.

Treatment Experience

Services Questions

  • You don’t need to figure that out before you come in. That’s what I’m here for.

At your first appointment, I look at what’s bringing you in, what your body is doing, and what may be contributing to the issue in the first place. From there, I build a treatment plan based on what will actually support you, not on a preset routine or what sounds good on paper.

  • Yes. Depending on what your body needs, treatment may include a combination of chiropractic adjustments, decompression, traction, neuromuscular work, or other supportive therapies.

That said, more is not always better. My goal is to use what will be most effective and most appropriate for your body in that moment, not to overdo treatment for the sake of doing more.

  • Yes, very. TMJ work is extremely gentle and guided closely by your comfort.

The goal is to reduce tension, clicking, discomfort, and stress-related holding in the jaw and surrounding musculature without creating more stress in the body. It’s precise, focused work, and I approach it with a lot of sensitivity.

  • Yes. Prenatal chiropractic care is adapted specifically for pregnancy, with a focus on pelvic balance, spinal comfort, and nervous system support.

Positioning and techniques are chosen carefully based on what feels supportive and appropriate for each stage of pregnancy. Comfort and safety are always prioritized.

  • Traction and decompression are used when the body needs more space, less compression, and more support around issues like disc bulges, herniations, nerve irritation, stiffness, or chronic tension.

Depending on what’s going on, that may look like manual traction, mechanical traction, or decompression using a specialized table. Each one serves a slightly different purpose, and I choose based on what will be most helpful for your body.

  • Yes.

Booking And
Appointment Questions

  • Right now, appointments are booked by phone or email.

If you’re ready to schedule, head to the Contact page and my team will help you with the next steps.

  • Your first appointment is usually 30 to 45 minutes. I use that time to understand your history, current concerns, and goals, and then move into a physical exam and your first adjustment.

It’s meant to be thorough without feeling overwhelming.

  • We’ll start by talking through your medical history, current concerns, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment. From there, I’ll do a physical exam, give you your first adjustment, and walk you through what I’m seeing and what options may make sense moving forward.

The goal is for you to leave with clarity, not more confusion.

  • Yes, in most cases your first appointment includes both your evaluation and your first treatment.

I want that first visit to be useful, supportive, and informative, not just a consultation that leaves you waiting for the next step.

  • Wear something comfortable that allows you to move easily and feel at ease during treatment.

Nothing formal is needed. I want you to feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible when you come in.

  • Absolutely. You’re always welcome to reach out by phone, email, or our contact form.

For A More Comfortable First Step

New Patient Questions

  • That’s completely okay. A lot of patients come in feeling unsure because they’ve never had chiropractic care before, or because they’ve only heard about it in ways that didn’t feel reassuring.

You don’t need to know the terminology, understand every technique, or come in with everything figured out. My job is to guide you through the experience in a way that feels clear, supportive, and appropriate for your body.

  • That’s very normal, and you’re not the only one.

I approach treatment with a lot of sensitivity to what your body is ready for, and I don’t force movement or rush the process. Some patients need a gentler approach at first, and that’s okay. The goal is not to push you through the experience, but to help you feel safe enough in it that your body can actually respond well.

  • Treatment shouldn’t feel aggressive or forceful. Depending on what your body is holding, some moments may feel more sensitive than others, but my approach is never about overpowering the body or pushing past what it’s ready for.

I’m always paying attention to how your body is responding and adjusting my approach accordingly.

  • You do not need to come in with a diagnosis or a perfectly clear explanation of what’s going on.

A lot of people just know that something feels off, that they’ve been dealing with discomfort for a while, or that their body hasn’t felt like itself. That’s enough. Part of the first appointment is helping make sense of what your body may be asking for and what kind of support will actually help.

  • If you’re looking for chiropractic care that approaches the body with thoughtfulness, patience, and a deep understanding of what may be contributing to how you feel, Adjust + Align is likely a strong fit for you.

My work is grounded in the belief that the body is inherently intelligent and responds best when it feels supported, safe, and understood. Instead of relying on force alone or a one-size-fits-all plan, I approach treatment as a conversation with your body and work with its patterns, not against them.

A lot of patients come to me because they want something that feels more holistic, intentional, and in tune with how their body actually feels and responds.

  • You can expect an experience that feels more grounded, supportive, and intentional than many traditional chiropractic offices.

From the pace of the appointment to the way treatment is delivered, everything is shaped by my belief that the body responds best when it feels safe enough to receive change. I don’t approach care through force, urgency, or purely mechanical correction. I guide treatment based on what your body is ready for, what it is communicating, and what will support lasting progress over time.

My goal is for you to feel listened to, understood, and more at ease in your body by the time you leave.

The next step should feel just as clear as the experience itself
